The medicine cured the villain and made him the first demon in history, but he became vulnerable to sunlight and gained a desire to devour humans. He then spent hundreds of years searching for the Blue Spider Lily to become fully immortal. However, he never found the flower after recklessly murdering his doctor. Since then, Muzan has created numerous demons across Japan to find the flower or a way to overcome his only weakness.

Synopsis:

After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro must travel to the Blacksmith Village to forge a new sword, as his old one has been damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, tasked with killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the hunters will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.
