The latest search result from the GEM Partners revealed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently the anime with the highest audience on Japanese streaming. Now the series is ahead of Oshi no Ko , which held the top spot for four weeks in a row.

GEM Partners is a Japanese website that evaluates the most watched anime streamed in Japan. According to the latest survey, Demon Slayer rose in rank, increasing from 237 votes to 262 this week. On the other hand, Oshi no Ko came second with a drop of 181 votes to 173.
This survey was carried out with 7,000 Japanese people aged between 15 and 69 from May 27th to June 2nd. Demon Slayer, Oshi no Ko and Detective Conan have already been in the top 3 of the list for an entire month.
Synopsis:
After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, as his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he comes across new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the plot, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without blacksmiths, hunters will have no swords to fight demons. So Tanjiro and his friends have to fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.
Therefore, the 1st season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , making the film a successful phenomenon. The second season premiered on December 5, 2021 in Japan. Finally, the 3rd season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the film To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
