The long-awaited film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle has just received a new teaser and promotional visual that highlights the confrontation between Shinobu Kocho and Doma , the demon of the Upper Moon 2.
The official theatrical release in Brazil will take place on September 11, 2025 Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers will be able to watch in advance screenings on September 9. Tickets went on sale on August 15 and sold out quickly in the initial screenings, reinforcing the huge anticipation.
Success in Japan and worldwide hype
Even before its release in the West, the film had already broken records. At 155 minutes (2 hours and 35 minutes) , the film became the largest release in the franchise's history in Japan. It grossed over 22 billion yen in just 25 days , surpassing the box office of ONE PIECE FILM RED .
Meanwhile, Aniplex has made all Demon Slayer episodes and movies available for free on YouTube for a week , starting August 16 , to further warm up fans.
Other new features of the franchise
The last visual released featured Tanjiro and Giyu versus Akaza . Now, the new art focuses on Shinobu's battle, one of the most anticipated by manga readers.
On the other hand, the franchise also continues in games. Thus, the title Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles 2 was released in Japan on August 1st and reached the global market on August 5th, 2025, available for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam .
