Sony Pictures Brazil has officially confirmed that the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle has received an 18-year age rating in the country. The decision was published this Monday (8) in the Official Gazette of the Union , reinforcing that the work will have an even more intense and dark approach.
Demon Slayer Age Restrictions Confirmed
According to the Ministry of Justice, entry will only be permitted for:
- The film is for those over 18 years of age .
- Young people aged 16 and over , accompanied by their parents or guardians, or with formal authorization.
However, entry to children under 16 is prohibited , even with authorization. Therefore, Brazilian audiences can expect a production with graphic scenes, which justify the high rating.

Infinite Castle arc represents the climax of Kimetsu no Yaiba , featuring decisive battles against the upper moons and the long-awaited final fight against Muzan Kibutsuji. Therefore, the high age rating indicates that the film will maintain the intensity of the manga's source material.
