Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans can get excited: the Mugen Train will return to theaters in Japan for a special five-week , starting May 9, 2025. However, the biggest surprise will be shown after the credits: a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle , preparing audiences for the next chapter in the saga.

Additionally, the studio confirmed that the first film in the Infinity Castle trilogy will premiere in Japan on July 18, 2025. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment subsequently announced the international release schedule. The worldwide premiere will begin in August 2025 , while the United States and Canada will receive the film starting on September 12, 2025. The film will be available with original audio and English subtitles, as well as a dubbed version.

The final battle at the Infinity Castle approaches

The plot follows Tanjiro Kamado , who, after seeing his sister Nezuko transformed into a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji. During his journey, Tanjiro strengthens bonds with Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira , as well as fighting alongside powerful Hashira such as Rengoku , Tengen Uzui , Muichiro Tokito , and Mitsuri Kanroji .

While the Hashira are conducting Hashira Training for the final confrontation, Muzan invades the Ubuyashiki Mansion , putting everyone in danger. Inevitably, Tanjiro and his allies are drawn into a mysterious space: the dreaded Infinity Castle , stronghold of the demons.

The stage is now set for the final showdown between the Demon Slayers and Muzan's forces . Fans can expect intense moments and memorable battles in this final stretch of the story.
