The official Twitter account for the anime Koyoharu Gotouge 's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga revealed on Sunday that Junichi Suwabe is joining the anime's cast as Kyogai. However, the Twitter account is currently streaming a video with a preview of the character.

The cast is made up of:
- Toshihiko Seki as Muzan Kibutsuji
- Ryouhei Kimura as Swamp Demon
- Jun Fukuyama as Yahaba
- Mikako Komatsu as Susamaru
- Junichi Suwabe as Kyogai
The animation is by Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu), the direction is by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) and the character design is by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X). Ufotable is also credited for the scripts.
Finally, the story of Kimetsu no Yaiba takes place in Taisho-era Japan. Tanjirou is a kind-hearted boy who lived peacefully with his family as a charcoal seller. His normal life changes completely when his family is killed by demons. The only other survivor, Tanjirou's younger sister, Nezuko, has become a ferocious demon. To return Nezuko to normal and avenge the demon that killed her family, the two embark on a journey. From a young talent, begins a tale of adventures of blood and swords!
The anime will have 26 episodes.
