The Golden Globe brought a surprise for animation fans. K-Pop Warriors beat Demon Slayer : Castle Infinite in the Best Animated Feature category, dashing expectations surrounding the Japanese hit.

The Netflix dominated the competition and also won Best Original Song with " Golden ". Furthermore, it competed alongside Arco , Elio , Little Amélie , and Zootopia 2. Meanwhile, Demon Slayer was the only Japanese representative at the awards, ending the night without any trophies.

Even so, the nomination reinforced the franchise's strength. The film entered the top 10 highest-grossing films globally in 2025 and became the most-watched anime in Brazilian cinemas. Furthermore, it is still aiming for BAFTA and Oscar nominations.
