Demon Slayer – Nezuko’s voice finally got a chance to speak in the anime

Spoiler alert: Akari Kito , the Japanese voice of Nezuko in Demon Slayer , finally got the chance to speak her character in the anime. Fans praised the voice actress's work and achievement for speaking Nezuko's "first words" in so long.

Since becoming a demon, Nezuko has been unable to speak, so her lines in the anime were limited to moans and flashbacks. However, she finally began speaking again when she resisted the sunlight in the final episode of the anime's third season.

At the same time, Akari Kito had the moment to truly give voice to the character in this memorable scene. Fans also jokingly commented on social media that she finally had the opportunity to "justify her salary."

Synopsis:

After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro must travel to the Blacksmith Village to forge a new sword, as his old one has been damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain, with a mission to kill the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the hunters will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.

Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a hit with the film. The second season premiered on December 5, 2021, in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll following the release of the film To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
