The special broadcast of the film “ Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train ” ended this Saturday with an announcement that the next season of the anime, which will cover the “ Swordsman Village Arc ,” will premiere in April with the first episode lasting one hour.

Director Haruo Sotozaki , character designer and chief animation director Akira Matsushima , animation studio ufotable , and the main voice cast are returning for the new arc.
Synopsis
Tanjiro, a kind young man who earns a living selling charcoal, discovers that his family has been massacred by a demon. To make matters worse, Nezuko, his younger sister and only survivor, has also been transformed into a demon. Devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro decides to become a demon slayer to turn his sister back into a human and to destroy the demon who murdered his loved ones.
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2019.
