SEGA announced that pre-orders for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 are now available for Nintendo Switch. The official release is scheduled for August 5, 2025. The game will also be released for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam® on the same date.

This title brings players deeper into the Demon Slayer universe. It features an expanded Story mode that includes the Blacksmith Village Arc. To promote the release, SEGA released a recent trailer. It showcases intense action scenes and characters from the arc, as well as providing more details about pre-orders and available editions.
Editions available for pre-order
Demon Slayer fans can choose from different editions to secure their copy of the game with exclusive bonuses. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition, available for R$349.90, offers a host of extra benefits, such as unlocking special characters and exclusive costumes.
Included items include two unlock keys for Kimetsu Academy characters, including Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui. Additionally, four additional characters, including Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima, will be accessible in Versus mode.
Additionally, the Deluxe Edition also offers 3 special battle costumes for the main characters, such as Tanjiro and Inosuke's kimonos, and Tengen Uzui's Shinobi costume.

Details about the Digital Standard Edition and Physical Edition
The Digital Standard Edition of The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is available for R$299.90 and includes the base game and Kimetsu Academy character unlock keys for Rengoku and Tengen Uzui, as well as pre-order bonuses for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji. For those who prefer a physical copy of the game, the Physical Edition will include the base game and character unlock keys for Muichiro and Mitsuri, but it's worth noting that this edition will be limited and subject to availability at local retailers.
