Sega has released a new trailer introducing Miyuki from the recent anime Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei along with Taiga from the anime Toradora in the fighting game Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax , both supporting characters in the game. The original voice actresses from the anime also return for the game.

The game was announced in September of last year at the Tokyo Game Show 2013 event. The game is the fourth collaboration between ASCII Media Works, Dengeki Bunko and Sega in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Dengeki Bunko, which was already released this year for arcades in Japan.
