
Based on the seinen manga of the same name published by Media Factory and written and illustrated by Asato Mizu, Denki-Gai no Honya-san will bring us a world of manga addicts and all the fun situations that can arise from this addiction.
The story takes place in a manga shop on the outskirts of "Electric City" (Denki-Gai, which in Japan is the popular name for the commercial area specializing in electronics). Umio is a young man who works part-time there, at the Uma no Hone bookstore, along with his colleague Hiotan, and it is in this environment that avid manga fans always appear, bringing some completely new situation.
The cast includes Natsumi Takamori as Hiotan, Minami Tsuda as Sensei, Ayana Taketasu as Fu-Girl, Mai Aizawa as Kameko, Satomi Sato as Tsumorin, Yu Kobayashi as G-men, Ryota Osaka as Umio, Yoshitsugu Matsuoksa as Kantoku, and Takahiro Tomita as Sommelier. The anime is produced by Shin-Ei Animation, the same studio responsible for hits like Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan.
Denki-Gai no Honya-san premieres on October 2nd
