author Asato Mizu anime adaptation of Denki-gai no Honya-san has been released . The video features the anime's opening theme song, "Kajirikake no Ringo" (A Half-Bitten Apple) by Ayana Taketatsu.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in October.
The "young comedy" revolves around the people who work in a manga shop in the back of a neighborhood. "Denki-Gai" or "Electric Town" is a popular name for shopping areas that specialize in, or used to specialize in, electrical and electronic goods, such as the well-known Akihabara in Tokyo. The protagonist, Umio, works in this shop.
