Deep Down has had new details revealed by Yoshinori Ono of Capcom. He stated that, despite the seemingly medieval setting, the game takes place in New York in the year 2094. Watch the trailer:

The new game can be played by up to four people, who must enter deep caves to defeat monsters. Each cave is randomly generated. The game was shown at E3 2013 for PlayStation 4 and will be an online RPG from Capcom. It will be available at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from September 19th to 22nd. For the development of Deep Down, Capcom produced the new Panta Rhei graphics engine, which seeks to exploit the graphical power of the PlayStation 4. In addition to PS4, the game may also be released on Xbox One and PC.
