The official website for the anime titled Persona 3 The Movie #1 Spring of Birth, the first film in a trilogy, has had some updates. As a first step, a new promotional trailer is already being released on the website showing details of the animation.

The official website also updated the characters. The official premiere of the film is scheduled for November 23rd throughout Japan. The cast remains the same as the original game for PlayStation 2. Noriaki Akitaya (Bakuman 1,2,3) is in the direction.

Synopsis: The story of Persona 3 takes place in a modern Japanese city, built and financed by the Kirijo Corporation . Due to events that occurred in the past, there is a “Dark Hour”, a period of time that exists between midnight and the next day that only a few conscious people can see; those who are not conscious find themselves frozen in coffins. The Dark Hour brings the reality curve; Gekkoukan High School, where most of the characters attend school during the day and at night becomes a huge tower with labyrinths called “Tartarus”, which appeals to beasts called Shadows that are roaming and protecting certain areas, preying on the People's minds still conscious during this time, leaving victims in a near-catatonic state outside of the Dark Hour.
