Arc System Works unveiled the script, cast, and production team for the BlazBlue Alter Memory , the TV adaptation of the fighting game franchise, during the Arc System Works Festival held this Sunday in Yokohama .
The story takes place in December 2199, when the streets are filled with anticipation for the end of one year and the beginning of another. Amidst the celebrations, rumors circulate that Ragna the Bloodedge, a highly dangerous rebel with a large bounty on his head, has been seen in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. Ragna's apparent objective, better known as "the reaper," is the destruction of the system that controls the world. To claim the bounty, a group of diverse warriors heads to Kagutsuchi.

Toshimichi Mori will supervise this project, and Hideki Tachibana will direct the anime at teamKG and Hoods Entertainment. Seiji Muzushima will be collaborating on the direction. Deko Akao and Tatsuya Takahashi will be the scriptwriters for the episodes. Tomoyuki Shitaya will be the character designer and chief animator for the project. Other staff members include:
