Publisher Shogakukan revealed that the Detective Conan manga already has 250 million copies in circulation worldwide (including unsold copies).
The 100th volume was shipped to Japan on Monday.
Author Aoyama launched the Detective Conan manga in 1994.
The manga got an anime that has been running since 1996, and it also got a series of films. The 24th film in the series, Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet , premiered on April 16. The film grossed a total of 7,479,317,860 yen.
