The official website for the film “ Detective Conan: Hyakuman Doru no Michishirube ” received a new trailer and poster this Tuesday (26).

The film is the 27th installment in the Detective Conan franchise, and is scheduled for release in Japan on April 12, 2024. A separate compilation film titled "Detective Conan vs. Kid the Phantom Thief" opens in Japanese theaters on January 5. The compilation will combine and re-edit television episodes, including Kid the Phantom Thief's debut, and will add new scenes to the story from episode 76, when Conan and Kid had their first confrontation. The special will also feature exclusive new footage of "valuable interactions" between the two characters.
Aoyama launched the manga in 1994. The manga spawned a television anime that has been airing since 1996, as well as a film series. The 26th film in the series, "Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine" (Iron Submarine), premiered in Japan on April 14 of this year.
