The official website for the film Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween released a trailer for this, the 25th film in the franchise. The trailer hints at a showdown between Conan and King Furuya .

Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween will premiere in Japan on April 15, 2022. Susumu Mitsunaka is directing the film at studio TMS Entertainment . Takahiro Oukura is writing the script, while Gosho Aoyama is credited for original work.

The film will feature the following characters: Rei Furuya , Jinpei Matsuda , Wataru Date , Kenji Hagiwara and Hiromitsu Morofushi . Original creator, Aoyama , had previously hinted that the police academy characters would be “taking the lead” in the 25th film.

Confirmed cast members include: Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa, Wakana Yamazaki as Ran Mouri, Rikiya Koyama as Kogoro Mouri, and Toru Furuya as Touru Amuro.
