Devil May Cry Gets New Trailer Featuring Music by Evanescence 

Netflix a new trailer for the anime Devil May Cry on its official YouTube Evanescence , called Afterlife its soundtrack .

The production team created the song specifically for the anime's soundtrack, which will premiere worldwide on Netflix on April 3rd. Check out the trailer :

The anime had already done a musical collaboration previously, with the band Papa Roach , see the musical trailer below:

Netflix also released the anime's opening song in full, which will be "Rollin'" , a big hit by the band Limp Bizkit , in January 2025. Watch it in full:

Studio MIR ( Harley Quinn, The Legend of Korra ) is producing the anime, which will have 8 episodes.

Adi Shankar , the series' producer, had previously commented that the Devil May Cry anime will be part of a “ Multiverse ”, sharing the series' universe with the works Castlevania and Castlevania: Nocturne .

The production has already announced the voice cast for the adaptation. The following voice actors will play the main characters:

  • Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante;
  • Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady;
  • Hoon Lee as Enzo Ferino;
  • Kevin Conroy as VP Baines;
  • Robbie Daymond as Vergil;
  • Tony Todd , no character disclosed.

Actor Tony Todd passed away on November 6, 2024, and left behind lines for three characters recorded for the anime. The staff has not released the characters' names, but will retain the original voices as a tribute.

Devil May Cry Synopsis:

The game's story takes place in modern times on the fictional island of Mallet and centers on Dante, a demon hunter who uses his business to exact revenge after losing his mother and brother.

Madhouse studio (responsible for One Punch Man ) had already adapted the game into a 13-episode anime, released in 2007.
