A new anime adaptation of Devil May Cry based on the games was revealed today (27). Therefore, Adi Shankar , from the hit Castlevania , will be executive producer of the new anime.

Without disclosing further details of the project, Dante , Vergil and Lady were confirmed as characters in the story. Therefore, the new anime has the involvement of Adi Shankar ( Castlevania ) as executive producer and is scripted by Alex Larsen ( Yasuke ).
Game synopsis:
The story takes place in modern times, on the fictional island of Mallet, and centers on Dante, a demon hunter who uses his business to gain revenge after losing his mother and brother.
Finally, the series will have 8 episodes produced by Studio MIR ( Harley Quinn, The Legend of Korra ). Furthermore, the title received an anime adaptation, produced by Madhouse ( One Punch Man ), with 13 episodes, released in 2007.
