Devil May Cry's release date and opening sequence have been revealed

Netflix revealed this Friday (31) the opening of Devil May Cry . The clip features the song “ Rollin ’” sung by the band Limp Bizkit . In addition to the song, the video reveals that the anime premieres on April 3rd .

Studio Mir is responsible for producing the anime, which is an adaptation of the game of the same name made by CAPCOM in 2001. Adi Shankar and Alex Larsen completed the script for the first season in 2021.

The screenwriting duo confirmed that the series has enough content to be developed over several seasons, and also revealed that the first season has eight episodes and features Dante , Vergil , and Lady .

Adi Shankar is the director for this season and stated that the series "will join Castlevania in what we are now calling the pirate multiverse .

Synopsis of Devil May Cry:

The game's story takes place in modern times on the fictional island of Mallet and centers on Dante, a demon hunter who uses his business to seek revenge after losing his mother and brother.

Studio Madhouse adapted the Devil May Cry into an anime in 2007 , with a total of 12 episodes.
