The 34th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine, Diamond no Ace, will soon receive an OVA. This new special will arrive in November alongside the new volume. The baseball inspired a TV anime premiered in Japan last October, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan .
The story revolves around young Eijun Sawamura, a pitcher who joins an elite school with a brilliant catcher named Kazuya Miyuki. Together with the rest of the team, they strive for Japan's celebrated Koushien championships through hard work and determination.
