The 34th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen magazine that Diamond no Ace will get an OVA soon. This new special will arrive in November accompanied by the new volume. The baseball inspired a TV anime premiered in Japan last October, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan .
The story revolves around young Eijun Sawamura, a pitcher who joins an elite school with a brilliant catcher named Kazuya Miyuki. Along with the rest of the team, they strive for Japan's celebrated Koushien Championships through hard work and determination.
