The Digimon franchise presents us with fascinating digital creatures, who live in a world parallel to ours, known as Digimundo. This universe is entirely made up of data and can be accessed through networks, intangible portals or internet connections. The Digimon journey began in 1997 with the launch of a virtual pet, also called Digimon. The following year, in 1998, came the first electronic game, Digital Monster Ver. S: Digimon Tamers, for the Sega Saturn.
Finally, it was so successful that, on March 6, 1999, the first film in the franchise, Digimon Adventure, premiered. The following day, the first season of the anime, with the same name, began airing, marking the beginning of a series that would become iconic for many fans.
