During the “ DigiFes 2021 ” event, the Digimon franchise will receive a new anime adaptation and a new feature film. According to reports , the new series will be called ' Digimon Ghost Game ', and will premiere later this year on Fuji TV .
Therefore, the film will tell the story of Daisuke Motomiya and the other characters from ' Digimon Adventure 02 '. Tomohisa Taguchi and Akatsuki Yamatoya , both known for the recent ' Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna ', are directing and writing the script.
