Where, Uzui is one of the main characters who appeared in the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba , being the current Sound Hashira . By the way, for those who haven't read the manga, we'll write everything you need to know about the new Uzui.
Who is Uzui Tengen
First, in his childhood, Uzui was born and raised in a ninja family with nine siblings, undergoing painful training. However, before the boy reached adulthood, seven of his siblings were killed, forcing him to refuse to become a shinobi like his father and brother.
Sound Hashira Personality
extravagant character wherever he goes. Furthermore, when he recruits Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, he proclaims himself a "God" and demands to be treated as such. Thus, even though he calls himself a god, he receives the Hashira's disapproval.
However, despite his closed face and extravagance, Uzui has a caring side that stands out a lot when he is with his 3 wives : Makio , Suma and Hinatsuru.
Equipment
As for his weapons, he wields two swords called Dual Nichirin Cleavers . They are notched at the tips of their blades and connected by a chain that connects to the hilts. In fact, the words " destroy demons" .
Thus, Tengen also carries anti-demon bombs, as they have high destructive power even with the slightest impact on their opponents.
Tengen Uzui's Abilities
His abilities, however, are remarkable. As one of the Nine Hashira , Tengen possesses great superhuman abilities such as: extraordinary strength, agility, speed, intelligence... Above all, thanks to the arduous training he underwent since childhood. In addition to these attributes, he also developed Sound Breathing , a powerful technique.
Echolocation: Uzui can amplify his hearing to utilize this ability. In addition to location, this ability also allows him to count the number of people involved in these confrontations.
Musical Score: Here, Tengen developed this technique using his keen hearing in conjunction with his Sound Breathing . Thus, the Hashira can analyze enemy attacks and build a score from these attack rhythms , allowing him to easily read their movements, turning each fight into a song. However, the weakness of this technique is that it takes a long time to perform this complete analysis.
Enhanced Hearing: He possesses a heightened sense of hearing. This ability allows him to hear noises underground (useful for identifying underground tunnels and caves), as well as helping him monitor all activity in the Entertainment District (which makes it easier to locate demons within the area).
Sound Breathing: This breathing style was created by Tengen himself and combines his enhanced hearing, musical scores, and bombs that cause great damage to Onis. We will see him using it (probably) in 3 forms :
Breaths
First Form: First, with his twin swords, he throws bombs with great force to cause damage. These bombs make a sound like thunder;
Fourth Form: Here, he keeps his swords separate, spinning quickly, and uses the metal chain that connects them together with the bombs;
Fifth Form: The user holds one of their swords and spins the other using the chain connecting them. This form also uses bomb throws for greater physical damage.
Finally, the new season is shown in Japan on Sundays and broadcast on Crunchyroll and Funimation in Brazil.
