Naruto Anime Rank Levels – Normal
Academy Student : First, let's talk about the lowest level every ninja starts at. This is like a school, where you learn to control your chakra, use shurikens, kunai, and some basic jutsu. In other words, it's the very basics, but all great ninjas have already completed them.
Genin: Now, if you manage to become a Genin, you can be considered a true ninja. This means you can begin undertaking D- and C-rank missions, usually accompanied by two other classmates and the teacher in charge!
Chuunin : Already here, you can be considered a true intermediate shinobi! In fact, you can only reach this rank after completing the Chuunin Shiken! Therefore, it's worth noting that this arc is one of the best in Classic Naruto, and Boruto is also very exciting. Furthermore, upon reaching this level, you are already entitled to perform B-level missions.
Jounin : And here we see the true ninjas at a respected level! It's worth noting that they were by far the strongest in the Classic Anime, as they all possessed considerable power, especially Kakashi and Gai. This allows Jounins to perform S-class missions and even have the right to teach three genins!
Kage: And finally, this is the highest rank a ninja can attain. In other words, it's the goal of any aspiring ninja, like our protagonist! In this way, they symbolize the supreme power of a village, where they are also responsible for protecting everything and everyone!

ANBU: Also worth mentioning here is the Anbu. The Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai, a special division tasked with carrying out a village's most secretive and dangerous missions. As such, they are all extremely powerful and experts in assassination, torture, hypnosis, and espionage. Therefore, they are undoubtedly the trump card of every village and feared by all.
Sannin : And finally, it's also worth mentioning the three Sannin. Therefore, they are considered the three legendary ninjas of the Hidden Leaf Village. In other words, they were the greatest ninjas of their time. Composed of Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, it goes without saying that they all possess incredible power, demonstrated many times in the anime!
