My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

The ecchi comedy Do You Like Big Girls? ( Gorō Aizome ) will be adapted into an anime and will premiere in April 2026. The production will follow the AnimeFesta block format, with a censored version on TV and an uncut version on streaming.

Unlike the animation for Maplestar , Studio Hokiboshi is working on the anime. Sōta Warai is directing, with series composition by Eeyo Kurosaki and character design by Nagae Ashitaka. As is tradition for the AnimeFesta , the anime will have two versions. The broadcast edition will be shown censored on free-to-air TV, while the premium version will be available online, uncut.

The cast uses pseudonyms in the premium version

Because it is a work with more adult content, some of the cast will use pseudonyms. The story follows Sōta Tachibana, a short university student who becomes the dormitory director for the women's volleyball team.

The manga Do You Like Big Girls? began in 2014 in Takeshobo's Monthly Kissca magazine and is currently being published on the Takecomic website. The work blends harem elements, university comedy, and provocative situations set in a sports world.

Quick questions

When will the anime premiere?
The premiere is scheduled for April 2026.

Will there be an uncensored version?
Yes. The complete edition will be exclusive to the AnimeFesta streaming service.

In conclusion, the adaptation reinforces AnimeFesta's strategy of investing in niche ecchi comedies, expanding the catalog of adult anime on Japanese streaming services.
