NHK has revealed Saya Miyauchi manga Dog Signal 🐕🐩 is getting an anime adaptation. According to reports, the anime will premiere this fall.

Synopsis:

The manga follows a novice dog trainer named Miyu Samura. His ex-girlfriend left him with a dog he didn't really know how to care for. One day, he meets Shinichirō Niwa, a dog trainer, and the indecisive Miyu's life begins to change. Shinichirō also introduces Miyu to animal trainer Ritsuka Izumi and veterinarian Suzunosuke Kubō.

Miyauchi launched the Dog Signal manga on Kadokawa in 2018. Kadokawa will publish the manga's ninth volume on February 8 of this year.

Miyauchi herself has experience as a pet sitter.
