The first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle Arc hit Japanese theaters on July 18. Titled "The Reincarnation of Akaza" , the film received a new teaser focusing on the character Dōma, with the line "wait a moment, Akaza-dono" going viral on social media.

This special aired during the "Seven Nights of Kimetsu no Yaiba" marathon, which revisited the characters' journeys with previously unreleased, exclusively re-recorded voices. In the segment dedicated to Dōma, fans experienced the villain's perspective, including moments leading up to his interaction with Akaza, further fueling anticipation for the next chapters in the film trilogy.

Synopsis of Kimetsu no Yaiba

Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published between 2016 and 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump , Kimetsu no Yaiba has already sold over 220 million copies. However, the story takes place in Taisho-era Japan, where young Tanjiro Kamado decides to join the demon slayer squad to save his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into an oni.

Since 2019, the anime adaptation has taken the world by storm with seasons and films, such as Infinity Train , grossing 517 billion yen globally.

The new film Infinity Castle: Chapter 1 is currently showing in 452 theaters, including IMAX. Fans can expect two more chapters of this epic final battle against Kibutsuji Muzan and the Supreme Onis. The release in Brazil is September 11, 2025.
