New information was released this Friday in Japan regarding the second season of the anime Dorohedoro
Therefore, the animation is by studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan). Yuichiro Hayashi , director of the first season, returns to direct the new season.

A man named Caiman has lost his memories and fallen victim to a curse: his face has been transformed into that of a lizard by a mysterious spell .
Now, alongside his partner Nikaido , he travels through a brutal world in search of the sorcerer responsible, trying to discover who he really is —and what happened to his true face.
Released in 2000 , the manga "Dorohedoro" by Q Hayashida captivated readers for 18 years and was published in 23 volumes . Its unique, dark, and chaotic atmosphere transformed it into a cult work, revered both in Japan and abroad.
Finally, the first season of the anime premiered on Netflix in January 2020 with 12 episodes. Netflix streamed the series outside of Japan in May 2020.
