Shounen Jump magazine the second season of the Dr. Stone anime has been officially confirmed. The series was highlighted this year and had its renewal guaranteed.
The story revolves around Taiju Ooki who experiences a gigantic catastrophe that affects all of humanity, turning it into stone. As the only survivors, it is up to Taiju and his brilliant friend, the scientist Senkuu, to make humanity leave the Stone Age and return to the Modern Era.
However, the series is animated by the studio TMS Entertainment and directed by Shinya Iino (Assistant director on Made in Abyss).
Finally, Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Inagaki (Eyeshield 21) began publishing Dr. Stone in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017.
