Synopsis
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, schoolboy Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he is not alone! Your science friend Senku has been up and running for a few months and he has a big plan in mind – to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

Shinya Iino ( Made in Abyss ) directed the first season at TMS Entertainment . Yuichiro Kido ( 91 Days ) was in charge of the anime's composition and script while Yuko Iwasa did the character design. Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutsumi ( Anima Yell! ) and Yuki Kanesaka composed the soundtrack.
Finally, the manga by author Boichi and illustrator Riichiro Inagaki was launched in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017, with 16 volumes to date.
