Season 4 of Dr. Stone kicked off with a bang, featuring Senku and the Kingdom of Science embarking on an exciting sea voyage. Thus, the premiere episode surprised fans with an intense poker game to decide the best route to America. Now, in episode 2, the crew continues their journey at sea, facing even greater challenges.
The first episode 1 of Season 4 showed Senku and Ryusui in a heated debate over which route the crew should take to get to America. Ryusui, as captain, advocated a direct route that would take 70 days. Senku suggested a shorter alternative, of just 40 days, but which would require redoubled effort from the crew to guarantee the success of the mission.
With opinions divided, the solution was a game of poker. Ryusui and Gen formed a duo to face Senku and Kohaku, while Ukyo took on the role of dealer to ensure fairness in the game. After several tense rounds, Senku triumphed with a Royal Straight Flush , revealing that he had marked the cards with urushi lacquer, using his allergy to the material to his advantage.
