Shounen Jump magazine, the second season of the Dr. Stone anime has been officially confirmed. The series was a highlight this year and has been renewed.
The story revolves around Taiju Ooki , who experiences a massive catastrophe that affects all of humanity, turning them to stone. As the only survivors, it's up to Taiju and his brilliant friend, the scientist Senkuu, to bring humanity out of the Stone Age and back to the Modern Era.
However, the series is animated by the studio TMS Entertainment and directed by Shinya Iino (Assistant Director on Made in Abyss).
Finally, Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Inagaki (Eyeshield 21) began publishing Dr. Stone in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017.
