The official website for the Dr. Stone anime has revealed that the band Burnout Syndromes will return to the franchise to perform the opening theme song for the special Dr. Stone: Ryusui .
The band previously performed the anime's first opening theme.
The one-hour special will air in Japan starting July 10th at 7 p.m. Crunchyroll will premiere the special at Anime Expo on July 3rd.
Dr. Stone: Ryusui will therefore take place after the second season of the anime, and will center on Ryusui (voiced by Ryouta Suzuki).

Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Riichirou Inagaki (author of Eyeshield 21) launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017 and ended publication on March 7.
