Toei Animation surprised Dragon Ball Daima fans by revealing Vegeta into Super Saiyan 3 . The novelty, which debuted in Japan, will be shown in Brazil at 2pm this Friday (27). This milestone brings an unprecedented and canonical transformation of the Saiyan prince, something expected for decades by admirers of the series.
Vegeta achieved powerful forms in Dragon Ball Super, such as Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Ego, but never officially appeared with the iconic long hair of Super Saiyan 3. Until then, this transformation remained exclusive to Goku in the main story line, appearing only briefly in promotional works, such as the anime Super Dragon Ball Heroes.

Episode 12 of Dragon Ball Daima features Vegeta using the transformation during an intense battle against Tamagami Number 2, in a search for the Dragon Balls. The anime's official X account shared images of the scene, which triggered a wave of excitement among fans.
On social media, the hashtag #VegetaSSJ3 dominated the trending topics, with thousands of comments praising the historic moment. Many highlighted the character's design and nostalgic impact in a way that had previously seemed restricted to Goku.
Dragon Ball Daima, released in celebration of the franchise's 40th anniversary, offers a different approach to the universe created by Akira Toriyama. The story takes place between the events of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Goku, Vegeta and other characters become children after someone makes a wish to the dragon Shenron.
The plot unfolds amid a conspiracy that takes the heroes to the Kingdom of Demons, where they meet Glorio, a young Majin with a central role in the narrative. Toriyama, creator of the franchise, directly participated in the concept of the work, ensuring its connection with the classic elements of the series.
Dragon Ball Daima episodes are available on Crunchyroll, Max and Netflix, with subtitles in Portuguese. The Portuguese dubbing will debut in Brazilian cinemas in February 2025, covering the first three episodes. However, the dubbed release on streaming platforms does not yet have a set date.
