The Dragon Ball franchise is preparing a special 40th-anniversary event that promises to excite fans worldwide. On January 25, 2026 , the Dragon Ball Genkidama Matsuri will take place directly from Makuhari Messe in Japan, with a global live stream on Toei Animation YouTube 's official channel .
