Shueisha's April issue of V Jump officially announced that the Dragon Ball Kai will return in full force with the famous Majin Buu. The new series will begin airing on Sunday, April 6th, taking the place of the popular anime Toriko, at 9 AM on Fuji TV.
To complete the picture, Dragon Ball Kai, or Doragon Bōru Kai, was a remake of the Japanese animated series Dragon Ball Z, remastered in HD, announced in February 2009 by Toei Animation. Kai means revision, nothing more than a new version edited by Akira Toriyama to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dragon Ball Z. The new version of the series has a new opening and ending, and the dialogue was redubbed by the original actors.
In Brazil, the anime premiered on the Cartoon Network cable channel on April 4, 2011, and also on the SIC Radical cable channel on June 18, 2012.
More information about the continuation coming soon...
