According to the website The Dao of Dragon Ball, a new volume of Ginga Patrol Jako (Jaco the Galactic Patrolman) will be released from April 4th, which will have a bonus manga about the life of Goku's mother. The revelation was made by author Akira Toriyama during an interview carried out by Saikyo Jump magazine.
The Saiyan warrior will be called Gine , who was part of Goku's father Bardock's . He saved her several times, until the two began to have a relationship. The union of Bardock and Gine was something very special, as it was a bond that was not limited to reproduction, something common among Saiyans. Over time, Gine left the battlefield and started working at the meat distribution center on planet Vegeta.
In the interview, Toriyama also said that Bardock's design was originally done by the team that worked on the anime, and that he only made some changes. The author also said that the vast majority of Saiyans were of lower level, including Bardock, and that only ten were of medium level. Only Vegeta and his father had a high level. Lastly, he commented that if a new Dragon Ball film were produced in the future, he would like the protagonist to be Vegeta.
