Dragon Ball Super remake announced, focusing on Beerus

The anime Dragon Ball Super is getting a new interpretation. Announced during the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri , the Dragon Ball Super Beerus (Bills) project will premiere in the fall of 2026, with confirmed broadcast on Fuji TV .

The released trailer shows Beerus (Bills) awakening from his long sleep. Meanwhile, Goku and his allies face a threat that puts Earth in real danger of destruction. The promotional material also highlights the direct confrontation between the Saiyan and the God of Destruction, now with a much more intense visual impact.

This new version arrives as an enhanced edition . In practice, the anime has been rebuilt with current technology, bringing never-before-seen scenes, redesigned cuts, and a new voice acting performance. Furthermore, the soundtrack and sound effects have been adjusted to increase the immersion of the battles. In this way, the production seeks an even more faithful adaptation of Akira Toriyama .
