The official website for the Dragon Ball Super has been updated with new information about the series that arrives at the beginning of July.
The site shows off new art from the series. The image features "Whis" and "Beerus" from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of Frieza , but also features two yet-to-be-named characters.
The website also revealed the character designs:
- Masako Nozawa as Goku
- Masako Nozawa as Gohan
- Masako Nozawa as Goten
- Ryo Horikawa as Vegeta
- Hiromi Tsuru as Bulma
- Takeshi Kusao as Trunks
- Mayumi Tanaka as Krillin
- Masaharu Satou as Master Roshi
- Toshio Furukawa as Piccolo
- Naoko Watanabe as Chi-Chi
- Yuko Minaguchi as Videl
- Unshou Ishizuka as Mr. Satan
- Kôzô Shioya as Majin Buu
- Kouichi Yamadera as Beerus
- Masakazu Morita as Whis
This will be the first Dragon Ball TV series since “ Dragon Ball GT ,” which aired from 1996 to 1997. Kazuya Yoshii will perform the opening theme “Chōzetsu ☆ Excellent” (Excellent Dynamic), and rock band Good Morning America will perform the ending theme “Hello Hello Hello.”
The premiere takes place on July 5th in Japan.
