The official website for the Dragon Ball Super has been updated with new information about the series that arrives at the beginning of July.
The site shows new art from the series, The image has “Whis” and “Beerus” from Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of Frieza , but it also features two yet-to-be-revealed characters.
The site also revealed the character designs:
- Masako Nozawa as Goku
- Masako Nozawa as Gohan
- Masako Nozawa as Goten
- Ryo Horikawa as Vegeta
- Hiromi Tsuru as Bulma
- Takeshi Kusao as Trunks
- Mayumi Tanaka as Krillin
- Masaharu Satou as Master Roshi
- Toshio Furukawa as Piccolo
- Naoko Watanabe as Chi-Chi
- Yuko Minaguchi as Videl
- Unshou Ishizuka as Mr. Satan
- Kôzô Shioya as Majin Buu
- Kouichi Yamadera as Beerus
- Masakazu Morita as Whis
This will be the first Dragon Ball TV series since “ Dragon Ball GT ”, which aired between 1996 and 1997. Kazuya Yoshii will perform the opening theme “Chōzetsu ☆ Excellent” (Excellent Dynamic) and rock band Good Morning America will perform the closing “Hello Hello Hello”.
The premiere takes place on July 5th in Japan.
