The fight between Goku and Granola finally happened in the Dragon Ball Super , but Granola's goal is to find Frieza.
Frieza is responsible for the extinction of the Granola people, ordering the Saiyans to kill all the cereal inhabitants, and he still believes that Goku and Vegeta are working for the galactic tyrant and wants revenge, since the return of the eternal villain is near.
In chapter 72 of the manga , Granola treats Goku arrogantly, wanting to extract information about Frieza's location, believing that Goku and Vegeta are under the villain's orders.
This is when things start to get confusing, as Goku doesn't understand why he's being questioned about it, while Vegeta just observes and begins to connect the dots.
Most likely, the Saiyans and Granola will come to an understanding during this fight. Frieza should appear with a new transformation and, as usual, he should lose to the protagonists.
