The latest chapter of Dragon Ball Super arrives on a bittersweet note. Sadly, Akira Toriyama , the series' creator, passed away before its release. While the manga is now led by Toyotaro , Toriyama contributed significantly to the ongoing story of Goku and the other Super Warriors.

In Chapter 103, we are introduced to the conclusion of the father-son fight, where Gohan may have shown that he is the strongest hero in the shonen universe. Spoiler alert: If you haven't read the latest chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga, Chapter 103, be prepared to enter serious spoiler territory.
Ever since Gohan obtained his new Beast transformation in the latest film , Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, many fans have been wondering how Gohan compares to his father Goku. Although Goku's Ultra Instinct has undergone some changes since he first obtained it during the Tournament of Power,
Gohan's Victory and Goku's Defeat
While we don't have a definitive answer as to which form is stronger, Gohan in his Beast form manages to land a significant hit on his father . In a shocking twist, Gohan manages to outpace Goku's Ultra Instinct, proving his ability to overcome it. However, the fight doesn't so much give us a winner as it sets the stage for a showdown between Gohan and Broly.
As such, Dragon Ball Super is on an indefinite hiatus, and the future without Akira Toriyama is uncertain. Upon announcing Toriyama's death, the official Dragon Ball website confirmed that the shonen creator was still working on several projects related to the saga, and the status of these projects remains a mystery.
