Since the manga Akira Toriyama 's passing Dragon Ball Super fans have been eagerly awaiting news. And now, it seems the series' future is beginning to take shape.
- Black Clover: Chapters 379 and 380 arrive in May 2025
- One Piece celebrates the anime's return with a special illustration
In an interview with the official Dragon Ball for the release of volume 24 of the manga, artist Toyotaro shared news that rekindles hopes: he has already drawn characters that will appear in the next volumes — which, together, form a complete picture — and promised to release them soon.
Although the manga concluded the Super Hero Arc, Toyotaro avoided confirming the definitive end of the series. In fact, he emphasized that the arc was concluded, but didn't mention the conclusion of the series as a whole. This choice of words suggests that there are still plans for Dragon Ball Super, reinforcing the idea of continuity.
However, another detail that stands out is the emphasis given to Black Frieza's form, revealed as the most powerful in the universe after his extreme training. This unresolved threat indicates that there's more to come—and Goku will have to face it once and for all.
With multiverses, gods, and timelines still largely unexplored, Dragon Ball Super has many possibilities moving forward. And everything indicates that this return may be closer than we imagine.
Finally, keep an eye on AnimeNew for all the updates on Dragon Ball, manga, anime, and the otaku universe we love so much!
