Dragon Ball Super's opening in Brazil is the target of criticism.

Days after the official announcement of the Dragon Ball Super in Brazil released by Cartoon Network, the anime was the target of criticism from fans.

Created by Akira Toriyama and produced by Toei Animation, the series began airing on July 5, 2015 in Japan. It is also a manga series written/illustrated by Toyotarou and supervised by Toriyama in Shueisha's shōnen magazine V Jump.

Dragon Ball Super is a direct sequel to the manga that ties into the events of Dragon Ball Z, with a new story after eighteen years.
