The 28th issue of "Shonen Jump" magazine revealed new information about the highly anticipated "Dragon Ball Super" anime. The issue announced the series' premiere date as July 5th in Japan on Fuji TV and other channels, airing Sundays at 9:00 AM. A new manga adaptation is also planned for release, with Toyotarō handling the adaptation in V-Jump magazine.
This will be the first Dragon Ball TV series since “Dragon Ball GT,” which aired between 1996 and 1997. Kazuya Yoshii will perform the opening theme “Chōzetsu ☆ Excellent” (Excellent Dynamic), and the rock band Good Morning America will perform the ending theme “Hello Hello Hello.”
The production and script promise to surprise everyone.
