Dragon Ball Super: Toyotaro confirms the manga's return

After months of uncertainty from fans, the Dragon Ball Super manga has returned to the spotlight. Toyotaro , the illustrator responsible for the work, indicated that he is focused on producing new chapters, signaling the end of the hiatus that began in early 2025.

The artist updated his online biography with the phrase " Everything is for the return of the series ." The direct message indicates that all his dedication is focused on the return of the series, without revealing an official release date.

Akira Toriyama 's death in March 2024. Since then, the manga has continued without regular publication, with only a special chapter released in February 2025. It is published in V Jump by Shueisha .

Now, Toyotaro assumes greater creative responsibility. He was already acting as the main artist and direct collaborator of Toriyama. The new phase should maintain central elements of the franchise, including intense combat and characteristic humor.
